Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

my bf was convicted of sales and sentenced. i am now contesting the asset seizure of his motorcycle. i have a loan contract between him and his friend saying that he borrowed the money to buy the bike. is that good evidence against an asset seizure? also, in the contract, it states that if he defaults on the loan, his friend gets the bike. is that grounds for his friend to be able to get the bike himself?
