Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
if my biological grandfather wrote several books and they sold over 1 million copies and are still selling today and he has passed away and my grandmother is divorced and hes last wife not by blood or anything has took over the rights to hes books and everything is there any chance since im by blood me and my motehr hes biological daughter would have some rights or full on rights to hes books he had written that are still selling today also how can i go aobut this ?

There are provisions in the copyright law that can be very beneficial to blood relatives of authors. Take a list of the copyrighted works and a family tree to a copyright lawyer. How long were they married? - was it after he wrote the books? DId he have a will?
