Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

on my birth certificate it says my first name is theresa but my mother nicknamed me terry when i was a little girl. as a result i use the name terry on everything. my question is this am i legally married since it says terry not theresa ??????????????????

With the exception of the dumb TSA rules, in the United States you can use any name you wish as long as it is not for frauluent purposes. use of Terry is fully lawful. You are legally married. I hope you were not looking for the opposite.

Yes, unless there is some other defect in your marriage (e.g., if one of you was already married to someone else, was underage at the time, etc.).
