Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
I bought a car from a private party,the car did not run the seller said he would return my money if i bought the car back to him, he did not, i sued him in small claims court and one a judgment against him...who dose the car belong to?

What does the judgment say? If you won you should be entitled to your money back when you return the car to him. You do not get your money back and get to keep the car.

The seller is entitled to take the car back when (or after) he pays the judgment, unless the court said otherwise.
