Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

My brother-in-law just passed away suddenly while on the job yesterday. Autopsy is being done but cause of death has still not been determined. Police say it could be heartattack. My sister is working with his company who is a Major Corporation as they are covering the funeral costs. Should she seek legal representation?

Unless she suspects that he suffered an injury on the job that caused his death, why would she need legal representation? Of course, if she needs help administering his estate, it never hurts to consult an attorney.
