Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
In Ca civil case, can a related party file a motion with the court to request copies of discovery if they are not a plaintiff or defendant? As an example, Subcontractor files a complaint against General Contractor over work performed at our house. If so, how would that be done? We would like copies of the interrogatries and discovery as it relates to our job for the complaint we intend to file against the Contractor.

Your attorney would serve them with a subpoena. If you do not have an attorney, you can get blank subpoenas from the court clerk's office.
