Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
I'm a California lawyer. I have a California civil action against a villain who defrauded my client. I want to seize Villain's domain name which is held by a registrar located in Colorado. Suppose I get a writ of prejudgment attachment entitling me to the domain name (or for money that is greater than its value). What would I have to do to get an enforceable order commanding the Colorado domain name registrar to turn over the domain name? Would this be achievable at reasonable cost?

Really? A California lawyer? You specialize in going after "Villains?" When did you get your law degree? Before or after the Battle of Hastings?
I share Mr. McCormick's skepticism, especially since a real lawyer would have known that this question is not about California law.
Actually this was my question. I entered Colorado as the state but put down my own zip code, and LawGuru decided to send the question to California lawyers instead of Colorado lawyers. Next time I will lie about my zip code.
