car damage
last year while my car was parked in my apartment parking structure, the people next door painting the condo got paint on my car. i it too late to do anything about it?

The statute of limitations for property damage is 3 years. You may make a written demand to your neighbor. If he/she refuses to pay, then you can go to small claims court. Bring with you the repair bill, photographs of the damage, and any witnesses to the paint dripping incident.
