Car Rental Insurance Reimbursment

I am currently renting a car while my car is being repaired due to an accident which was deemed the other party's fault. His insurance agency is paying for the rental car but won't pay for the insurance ($11/day). Can I seek reimbursement from the person who hit me? After all, I wouldn't need a rental car if he hadn't caused the accident. Thanks!

Your own insurance probably covers a rent-a-car being used as a replacement for your owned car. The $11 "insurance" is probably a waste of money. Check with your own insurance carrier.
