Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

My car was stolen from my garage however the car had no battery and would not start so the person/persons who took my car used a tow truck to take it. I feel the tow company helped in the process of steeling my car If two of their employees used a company tow truck to tow my vehicle out of my garage with out my permission or any proper identification to show who owned the vehicle they were towing and now my vehicle is missing and no where to be found! Do I have a case against a towing company for there involvement?

Absolutely yes. Also, have you made the police aware of this? My guess is the tow employees may have been involved. Have you found out where they towed it? How hard can it be to trace a car that has to be towed from place to place? Tow companies are required to keep records of their tows. It think it's a Cal-DOT requirement, but I"m not sure what agency is in charge.
