Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Do I have case?

I'm a paramedic intern and must complete an internship to obtain a license.I had made arrangements with an ambulance company to this, but now have been informed that I can't because I'm not an employee nor attended this company's school.I have read the my agreement with them and it mentions nothing about needing to be an employee. It also lists my school as an accepable training facilty to qualify as an intern. To simple put it, they are willing to take the 950.00 and put me on there waiting list but have no intention of giving me an internship.Due to this turn of events,I can no longer do an internship even in my local area as this company has a very large service area and is the only contracted ambulance service providing internships within the greater Bay Area.I have to front the money to get another internship somewhere farther, pay for the cost of travel, and the whole time paying added interest for the cost of my schooling. In addition,I'm afraid that I have already upset enough people at this ambulance company that it would indeed affect my potential employment with them as a paramedic. This would vitually force me to change careers or leave the Bay Area.Does this sound like I have a civil case?
