Caterer Never Showed Up At Party...

Hi, my wife had scheduled a caterer to a party we were throwing for our friends. The caterer messed up (they offered us some gift certificates to make up for it) and never showed up - the party as can be expected was a bust (it was only a 2 hour party, with no food�.and we told people to expect lots of food)

What should I do?

You didn't say if you paid the caterer any money. If so, you can recoup your loss in small claims or another court if over $7,500.
