Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
can a civil law suit with a promissory note be fought.

Any lawsuit can be fought. There are numerous defenses to payment on a promissory note, but of course only if there are facts and evidence to support them.
Depends on the facts. Generally though, an attorney will charge you hourly. Let me know by email if you would like a quick consult.

Maybe Mr. Bakondi intends to represent you on a contingency basis. I'd like to see that, defense of a civil matter on a contingency basis.
