Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Collecting on a judgement..

I lent someone $955.00. They have failed to pay me back and I am debating whether to take them to Small Claims. If I am awarded the judgement how do I collect if they still don't comply? And do I have to file in the courts nearest them or me??

To answer your questions:

1. There are a variety of enforcement and collection methods...including wage garnishment.

2. You will likely have to file in the place where the Defendant resides.
