Collecting judgement
Hello, i won a judgement for $1500,that was easy ( w/great proof) however collecting is a is the problem i was told that one of way is that i can collect from a 401K ( i know that defendant has a 401k and its balence is some of $4500)if i can tap into that HOW ! Thanks your site is GREAT!

You can't go after the 401k. However, if the judgment debtor has a 401k, it's a sure bet he/she works for an employer. You can attach wages and bank accounts, record an abstract of judgment if he/she owns real estate, take a debtor's exam, etc.
