Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Collection-Small Claims Judgment

We have a judgment against a lady who owns 3 consignment stores. The judge advised us that she has $180,000 in outstanding judgments. We are having her served with an Order to Produce Statement of Assets and to Appear for Examination. There is a statement that we can collect attorney fees. Are we allowed to use an attorney in this examination? If not, does the judge question the defendant or do we have to do it ourselves. Thank you for this fine service.
