Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

concerned about use of photos

My ex-boyfriend has pictures of me nude and engaged in sexual acts with him. If he uses these photos against me (for example, sends or e-mails them to people I work with or my family), can I sue him?

Re: concerned about use of photos

You might, but you should talk to an attorney beforehand, if you think something like this may happen. Investing in a consultation and perhaps an attorney letter to an ex-boyfriend may prevent the pictures from getting out in the first place.

Dear Concerned:

Unfortunately, we don't practice in California, or anywhere outside the field of business-to-business law. Good luck in your search for an attorney.
