Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Our daughter attends a private school in Los Angeles ( 3rd grade) and due financial reasons we have to withdraw her before the school year begins. we have a contract with FACT management that states that we are responsible for the fees for the year. we purchased insurance, but it only goes into effect after attending 15 days. even if we are liable for the fees we are not in a financial situation to accomodate. what are my rights or options.
