How many days do I have to file an opposition to a motion to amend the complaint in california?

Unless otherwise ordered by the court, your opposition must be filed and served no later than 9 court days before the hearing.

Note that you should serve the opposition in a manner that is reasonably calculated to reach the other parties by the day following the day on which you file it. (You need to serve all parties in the case - not just the moving party.) Generally, that means using services such as UPS, FedEx, Express Mail. You may also have the opposition personally served.

Mr. Saltzman is correct. 9 court days prior to the scheduled hearing. Court days does not include Saturdays, Sundays, or court holidays.
