Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
Hi, I am a defendant, representing myself in a civil case in Ca.. Someone told me that I don't have to answer Interrogatory questions in section 15 based on objections. Is this true? -

That interrogatory is almost always asked and is one of the most important ones. Off-hand, I do not see any objection that legitimately could be raised against the entire question.

That "someone" is an idiot. Section 15 asks for the facts on which defendants deny the plaintiffs claims and/or that support any affirmative defenses the defendants pled. What idiot would tell you the defendant doesn't have to answer that?

You shouldn't listen to other people tell you how to litigate your case unless they are a licensed attorney.
