Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
Ebay Web Site Discrimination & Suspension
I have been using Ebay for over a year selling electronics. I was suspended on Nov. 2, 2000 for allegedly 'shill'bidding and was told that within 30 days this suspension would be released. This suspension was not released because they told me that I was using the site, which I was not. They also did not and could not provide any proof of this to me. They will not relieve my suspension and I sell on Ebay as a living. Please help me. Can I file a Civil Claim over this or is there any kind of arbitration that can help me? I sincerely appreciate your assistance in this matter.
Thank you

Re: Ebay Web Site Discrimination & Suspension
I know that disputes between buyers and sellers at Ebay have the chance to go to arbitration - an impartial neutral gets evidence and issues a binding result. I think they use a company called disputes.org.
Ebay is a private company and can set their own terms of use. You should get a copy of their terms of use. Find out where in their terms it says they can do what they have done to you.
It may be cookies or the username/login that has them convinced that you are up to things. Could anyone else have this information of yours or access to your computer?
Because I am one, my final advice is get a lawyer. There may be time deadlines I don't know.
