Eleven yrs. ago I was awarded a $7500 settlement in small claims court in San Bernardino, CA. I sued the husband but couldn't collect because everything was in wife's name. Now I see the husband has opened a business. Can I still seek to be paid the $7500?

Not unless you renewed the judgment before ten years after it was entered. Judgments must be renewed every ten years or they expire.
