Examination of Debtor Finance

How do I proceed with a Exam of Debtor Finace, I have a judgement for 7500.00 for legal fees to pay plaintiff in an RO case with a neighbor. (Parenting her unsupervised child) I was forced to move, now I am going to be served with a Debtor Exam, is there anything I can do to stop this, postpone it, continue, etc. I do not have 7500.00, I am a single mom, self emp., no assets but my son gets Death Benefit SS from his dad and a small inherit (38K), Can that money be protect and how? Do I need to file any paperwork to protect it, HOw do I file a Continuance, Do I need a lawyer to help me What questions can I refuse to answer, SS #, Place of birth, Very Private info in todays world of Identy theft. HELP !!!! WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE

You might contact Legal Aid. Just because they're taking a debtor's exam doesn't mean they'll collect the money. They would want to know where all of your assets are, and what they are. Do you own a car, is it financed, do you own a home, how much money is in the bank, how much money is in your pockets?
