Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

How does a witness place an objection before the court regarding removal of critical items from exhibits turned over by me, that made their client look questionalble? Is it evedence tampering, and how may I bring it to the courts attention?
Also... What is the definition, and what are the rules in California Court (Sacramento specifically)pertaining to filing a document as "friend of the court"?

Generally, you just alert the attorney on the other side of the situation and he or she will cover it during their examination of the witness.
