Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
False Reciept's
In small claim's court, how can a person defend or prove that the reciept's that the plaintiff has are inflated or false or not even their own.If the plaintiff has a friend that own's a business related to the product that is being claimed in the suit to be damaged and they write them a false bill or inflated bill, how do you defend against that or prove it other than to just tell the judge that you know the bill is false or inflated?

There are many ways, to many to list here. you might try hiring another repair man to testify as to the real value. you can subpeona their records and investigate.
