Re: federal rules of civil procedures

It's not entirely clear what you mean by "the Federal Rules of Civil Procedures for California." There are Federal Rules of Civil Procedure which apply in Federal courts nationwide. There are also California Rules of Civil Procedure which apply in the state courts of California, but not in the Federal courts. Finally, there are "local" rules of each of the four Federal District Courts in California, and these could be referred to (incorrectly, though) as the "Federal Rules of Civil Procedure for California."

Mr. Drescher is right that www.findlaw.com is a good place to look; just be sure you know what it is you're looking for!
