If I file a civil action for breach of contract because someone failed to pay a bill he agreed to pay that is in my name and it goes on my credit report, what damages can I claim because it goes on my credit report?

You can claim all damages you suffered. There are certain damages that apply to certain claims to relief such as compensatory, consequential, incidental, and then there is punitive. Consult an attorney to see which would be best for you.
