Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
I just filled a suit against a Property management company that hired me to provide services for a home they manage, I included the owner of the property, which lives about 2 1/2 hours away. My question is do I have to have him served or can it be sub-served thru the Property managemtn company since they are his agent?

You have to serve him. They are not his agent for service of process. Only a corporation or LLC can have an agent for service of process, and it has to be the person or entity listed with the Secretary of State.
