Re: Formal response:?
From your message, it appears that you have been served with a summons and complaint. You have 30 days from the date of service to respond -- either by demurrer, motion to strike, motion to quash, or answer. The courts have forms for response but, if you don't know what you're doing, you could be creating big headaches for yourself. Feel free to call me later in the day on Monday to see if it can be sorted out. (310) 858-9771
Re: Formal response:?
A formal response depends if you are opposing a motion or a complaint and the response itself would depend on what type of relief the moving party or plaintiff is asking for as well as your defense. Please contact our office for further consultation or review of your documents.
