Fraudulant employment offer?

My friend was told she had a job she app-lied for at a major hospital. She went through blood tests and all the paperwork and shee put in her 2 weeks at her current job. Now they call her back and they say that they had the wrong person with the same name as her i.e.'' We had the wrong Kim'' and now they won't hire her. What can she do?

She can sweet-talk her present employer into keeping her on, and continue searching for work. Of course, if there's more to it than a "mistake," i.e. discrimination because of disability or the like, that could be a different story.
