Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
My friend and I was aboard of AA airlines frying from JFK to LAX. I was in business class and my gf in economy. After the seat belt sign was eliminated, i went to visit my gf in economy. We chatted and took couple of pictures and a video. While taking a video, the flight attendant came up to me and very rudely told me to go back to my seat and that I can't go back to economy under any circumstances. My phone camera was on during this conversation. Next thing I know, air marshal approaches me at my seat, takes my phone and removes the video without even looking at it. After that, I was denied any food or water for the remainder of the flight. Myself and my gf was also escorted by FBI from the plane in LA. They questioned us for an hour about some nonsense and let us go. One of the police guys said that we should take it legally with American Airlines for what they did to us over nothing. What are my options?

Sounds outrageous to me. You should file a claim for compensation.
I disagree with Mr. Selik. Were you asleep when 9/11 happened? Quit screwing with air staff on commercial flights. You can horseplay with your girlfriend at home.
