Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

a grant deed was illegally obtained and the signature was added to it by being taken from another document. The deed was notorized by a notary that I never appeared before. What can I do?

You need to talk to an attorney. You need to set forth the entire situation. The rule in California is that a forged deed does not pass title. You may need to file an action to quiet title, depending on your situation. You are going to have to gather documents and prove that the signature was forged.
