Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
Are there any grounds to object to request for production of documents solely based on the fact that they are requesting documents related to interrogatories and request for admissions?

It would be better grounds if they WEREN'T related. You need a lawyer, really badly, if you don't understand that.

No. That's how it's usually done. In fact, in most cases that's how it *should* be done.

There are grounds to object, you just don't know what they are.

There is no limitation on inspection demands (what you term request for production of documents) as there are on interrogatories and requests for admission.
