Hoa restrictions

If you have a home based business

withen Home Owner's association,with only 1 (the homeowner) as employee, All business is transacted via phone/fax/e-mail no shipping or recieveing clients never come to

residence. Can HOA restrict you from doing buisness from residence ? I have DBA filed with County of Riverside CA.

Yes, the CC&R's are a contract that you signed and it should have been given to you before escrow closed so that you knew what you were agreeing to. It is probably standard for HOA to state you can not run a business, and equally standard that people do it all the time. How is anyone going to know that you have a home business? Why is anyone going to care unless it increases the number of parked cars or is a brothel? I would not worry about it at all.
