New house owner

The house that I rent was just bought over by a new company and they want us to get out right away. from the day of the new purchase what is the leagal time that I have to move out. The new owner is only giving us one week. Is this leagal. Although the previous owner lost the house and it was sold as a repo. Im I making any sens

They have to give you at least 30 days' notice. Then they would have to file an unlawful detainer lawsuit. You can certainly negotiate for cash for keys to make it worth your while to move early and avoid the aggravation.
