help my husband

my husband was released from prison and places on parole in dec 2006 in jan he got a job and in feb i found out i had leakemia it was very hard on everyone his parole office had said them that he would be able to transfer to redbluff were our family lives soon then in may i had to be transferd to uc davis to get better help and parole officer said he could not go with now he is homeless and they are threatening to put him back in prison when all we want is to be together he never gave any dirty test and he has went to all his meetings can they really do this

This is not my area of expertise, but I believe they can do almost anything to him while he is on parole. They certainly can limit in which county he can live and refuse to change it more than once. Their attitude likely is that after the treatment at Davis you will go back to Red Bluff or some where else and then they will have to transfer him again, etc. Also, by moving he gave up his employment. He probably has very little chance to opposite what they order; even if he fights it, you do not have the money for an attorney and until the attorney wins the case your husband would sit in jail as a parole violator. Sorry.
