Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

I want to introduce certified bank records. The records should come in since they are certified and I have an affidavit from the custodian of record. The hearsay business record exception should overcome a hearsay objection, right?

You would need to lay a proper foundation, but you are on the right track. Look up Rutter Group Civil Trials & Evidence at the law library.

You will have to subpoena the custodian of records for trial, or some other bank official to lay the foundation for the records.
