Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
I had three items left for repair at a jewelry chain store (rolex, wedding ring and gold chain) they were apparently stolen from the courrier and I was informed a week later. Now they are offering to "attempt" to replace at the previously agreed upon value (they made me sign their estimate prior to leaving the items), and/or store credit. How do I make a demand for full replacement?
