Keeping a convicted felon out of my house

Person was staying with me, does not contribute, freeloads, causes problems in household. Can I get a restraining order to keep them off my property and out of my house. They are also a convicted felon who has absconded.

Re: Keeping a convicted felon out of my house

It would appear that this person has a warrant for his or her arrest. Notify the police of the location of this person and they will be arrested. Providing this person with a home may be considered as aiding and abetting them in eluding arrest. You could be placing yourself in danger of being arrested if you do nothing. If the person is arrested you would not need the restraining order. Just appear in court and tell the judge you do not want the person to return to your home.
