Can a landlord re file an unlawful detainer claim if that claim went to trial and judgement was entered for the tenant?

As to the time periods referenced in the original UD lawsuit, the case is over and the tenant won. But the landlord is of course free to file again, for example if the tenant doesn't pay rent for a time period not referenced in the original UD. The landlord would have to serve a new 3-day notice.
