Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Landlord removed all locks & property was stolen

I had my tools and equipmet on a piece of land I was working on. We were having a dispute. He hired a man to torch all locks off the gates. $4.700.00 worth of my tools were stolen. Is there a law that does not allow people to intentionally expose othere,s property harm?

You do have a case against the man for negligence and you would be able

to recover the cost of your tools and possibly punitive

damages for his intentional negligence. My primary office

is in San Luis Obispo, but I practice law throughout

the State of California. please contact my office either

by emailing me or calling me direct at 805-546-9909.
