Larceny is a legal term used in criminal law, not civil litigation, which is the category that you have selected. Larceny is a subspecies of theft crimes. It involves a defendant who took the property of another, with the specific intent to deprive another of the property, and actually carried it away.

If you are looking for the term for a civil lawsuit, the term is "conversion."
