Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

I have a lawsuit filed against me with the following complaints: Breach of Oral Contract and written contract. Fraud, conspiracy. My question is I really don't have the money to fight this case although the claims are not true. If I don't fight this case. How does a fraud judgment affect me?

Unless you file a respond to the complaint the plaintiff will receive the amount requested in the complaint. Your will not be allowed to present evidence opposing the complaint. A fraud charge could have adverse consequences for you in the future. Check for local legal clinics or other free legal advice. If you cannot find a clinic or other legal advice research how to prepare a response. Nolo press has many books to help with legal situations. These books are reasonlbly priced and easy to read Many local bar associations have a program for a low cost consultation with an attorney. Try all of these options to find one that works.
