Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
can a former lawyer, who is now a superior court judge be deposed and sued for malpractice in civil court from when he was a lawyer handling a civil lawsuit case and not when he was a judge?
Statute of limitations is still in effect.

I agree with Mr. McCormick. His immunity as a judge would only apply to judicial acts, and not to things that he did when he was an attorney.
