Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

We want to learn more specifically what 'violent' is considered when it comes to restraining orders in SoCal. We want to know if the restraining order the police said we should obtain would be free for my family, in our case.

* Two stakes ripped out of our metal fence (property damage) and placed in our yard.. in the tracks, aligned, where our working dogs run (intent?)

* Dirt dumped in our driveway (3 times)

* Verbal snide comments and threat about more dirt made over property line.

* Moving our trash receptacles to block the street in front of our driveway (3 times) and the sidewalk (once - where they then parked in front of them, where the last was not collected due to being blocked - 'Theft of Services'?) and left them there for us to get in trouble with HOA. Oh, and they then (all four times) put their trash in front of our house, where our bins had been placed in the first place.

Is this violent or threatening enough behavior -to date- to be a free restraining order or do we have to wait to see if they have a gun? We already know the man has a huge temper - 5:30 am he pealed out after blocking our driveway the first time, going through three stop signs, at what must have been 60+ MPHs in a 25 zone.
