EEOC will notify you of each step and the time limits along the way. This administrative process could take up to two years to complete. Once the administrative decision is final, you will have a time [usually short, like 90 days to 6 months] to file an action in the appropriate US District Court. From there, it could take years to process appeals all the way to the US Supreme Court.

Your first step is to file a claim with the EEOC, you may have the commission pursue your claim, or, in the alternative seek a "right to sue" letter, once issued, permitting you to file an action in the Superior Court, limited or unlimited jurisdiction, and pursue your legal action against the employer.
