Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Legal recourse?

Hi, I recently signed up with a multi-level marketing company called NAME REMOVED I want to be a financial advisor as a career, so i thought this company would be a good job i could do part-time to get experience while i finished college. However at my first ''training'' session things went really sour. Too make a long story short (if you want to hear the whole story read the novel below) because i didn't want too take notes, i am no longer welcome at the company and they don't want to give me my $200 back. When i signed up...NO WHERE did it say that i have to take notes or do everything they tell me to do like a brainwashed robot. It also didnt say anywhere that i was going to be subjected to humilation and unessary stress. my question is what should i do? i thinking i should just file a small claims and try to get my 200 back but i don't know if will even be worth my time.

any help is greatly appreciated

so here is the whole story:

Everyone who goes to these meeting/training is suppose to bring a notebook and something too write with. So i brought a pen and a little notepad. However

Re: Legal recourse?

Congratulations on getting some financial education. Many pay much more than $200.

Re: Legal recourse?

This question should have been rejected, because it names the other party you are having a problem with. Please do not post proper names; instead, just post generically "a multi-level marketing company". Thank you.
