Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
Is there any legal way to stop a California City from going ahead with an election to sell public parkland when an unlimited civil lawsuit has been filed in a County Superior Court alleging the sale of parkland is ?illegal??
If an election cannot be stopped pending the resolution of the lawsuit and a simple majority votes to sell the parkland, can the City sell the property with the lawsuit pending?
