Legitimacy of small claims suit

I am being threatened by an abusive ex-boyfriend who wants to take me to small claims for $250. This would cover: two tires he gave me as a birthday gift, couples counseling he freely paid for and asked me to attend, changing the locks on his door although I have never entered his home and returned his keys. Is there validity to this claim?
