Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Regarding liability of a youth football league. Note that location of game sites and game schedules are posted on the league website. A player has a mother who does not have a good relationship with ex-inlaws. If the ex-inlaws (grandparents) asked a league board member how to find game schedules, went to the game, and had an altercation with the mother, is the board legally liable?
